On the night of October 14, Ukraine faced a large-scale enemy drone attack involving nearly one hundred unmanned aerial vehicles, including well-known types such as Shahed and Gerbera, as well as other drone models.
The aggressors launched a total of 96 drones, with 27 hitting their targets.
Ukrainian military officials reported in the morning that the country’s air defense forces did everything possible to counter the attack — utilizing aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile combat groups.
They managed to shoot down or suppress 69 enemy UAVs of various types across the entire territory.
Preliminary data indicate that the attack lasted until early morning, with strikes recorded in seven locations, and fragments of downed drones falling in one more.
Meanwhile, the Kirovohrad region experienced damages due to the attack, with five settlements losing power.
