Kyiv Experiences Water Supply Disruptions Following Power Grid Accident
Following a recent failure on high-voltage power lines, Kyiv is facing significant disruptions in water supply.
On Tuesday evening, due to a critical incident within the city’s energy system, pressure in the water pipelines on the right bank drastically dropped, resulting in widespread water outages for residents.
According to city officials and energy companies, specialists are actively working to repair the damages.
The Kyiv City State Administration has reported that once the power grid issues are resolved, municipal services will quickly restore water supply.
Reports from correspondents indicate that numerous districts are currently without water, causing concern among residents.
The situation was precipitated by network overloads, which led to several neighborhoods losing power, and one of the key energy facilities suffering damages, triggering a large-scale energy crisis.
