Destruction and casualties caused by renewed Russian shelling in Ukraine
Last Tuesday, Ukrainian regions suffered extensive attacks by Russian troops, resulting in tragic consequences for civilians and damage to infrastructure.
Shellings affected three regions — Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Sumy — leading to the death of a civilian woman and injuries to several peaceful residents.
According to regional military administration leaders, Ukrainian defenders shot down three enemy aerial targets, demonstrating the high effectiveness of Ukraine’s air defense system.
Meanwhile, in Pavlohrad, residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged, and in Nikopol, Marganets, Pokrovsk, and surrounding communities, attacks by FPV drones and artillery caused the death of a woman.
Several private houses, outbuildings, and greenhouses were also damaged.
On other frontlines, Russian forces shelled the city of Kostiantynivka with artillery, resulting in injuries to two civilians and damage to residential structures.
In border areas of Sumy region, three people were wounded by drone strikes during the afternoon, and private homes were also damaged.
Ukraine continues its fight against the enemy’s crimes, actively resisting shellings and protecting its citizens.
