Russian Drones Strike Sumy Region Again: Two Civilians Injured and Vehicle Destroyed
The Sumy region has once again become a target of Russian military aggression as UAVs attacked civilian infrastructure and vehicles.
According to Oleg Grygorych, the head of the regional military administration, the attack resulted in two civilians being wounded and a vehicle being completely destroyed.
The incident took place in the Yunakivska community, where a 50-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
Additionally, a Russian drone targeted a car near the Stetskivka territorial community, but fortunately, no one was hurt.
Given the ongoing threat, authorities urged residents of border areas, who previously evacuated, to refrain from returning home due to continuous targeted strikes on civilian objects.
Grygorych noted that since October, five civilians have been killed in Sumy region as a result of attacks, and another 44 have been injured, including five children.
Earlier, on October 12, two adults were wounded during another drone attack in the same community, highlighting the intensification of Russian aggression in the area.
