Zelensky Announces Successful Ukrainian Counteroffensive Near Orikhiv
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his latest address, reported significant advances by Ukrainian forces in efforts to reclaim territories from occupiers.
He stated that Ukrainian units are actively conducting counteroffensive operations in the areas of Dobropillia in Donetsk and near Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Recent reports indicate that Ukrainian troops have advanced more than three kilometers into temporarily occupied territories.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to the personnel of the 24th Separate Assault Battalion ‘Aidar,’ the 33rd Assault Regiment, and all other units involved in these critical operations.
This follows earlier successes on October 12, when Ukrainian assault units liberated several settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, including Maly Shcherbaki, Shcherbaki, and part of Stepove, marking a significant step in the ongoing counteroffensive.
