Russian Forces Advance on Hotspots and Prepare Major Offensive Near Dobropillia
The eastern front remains highly tense as Russian troops continue their push on critical sectors of the frontline, intensifying their offensive operations in the region.
According to analysts, Russian gains have been observed in Donetsk Oblast, particularly around Pokrovsk and Dobropillia, where they allegedly secured tactical advantages.Geolocation videos released on October 11 confirm movements of Russian forces south of Krasny Lyman, in central Balakliya, and north of Udačne.
Experts indicate that the front line in this zone is shifting, with Russian forces advancing southeast of Hryshyne and gaining control over Kozatske.Of particular concern is the escalation near Dobropillia, where Russian military units launched a powerful mechanized assault with around 35 armored vehicles, including tanks.
Ukrainian forces successfully repelled this attack, focusing their defense near Shakove.Military analyst Kostyantyn Mashovets suggests that Russians are already regrouping their forces to attempt another full-scale push to dislodge Ukrainian troops from the Soffiivka – Volodymyrivka – Pankivka – Shakove area.
It is believed that they will soon launch another significant offensive, which will likely escalate tensions in the region.
