Russian Attacks in Donetsk and Kherson Claim Six Ukrainian Lives in October
In a tragic continuation of Russian assaults on Ukrainian territory, six more civilians lost their lives in key regions—Donetsk and Kherson.
According to reports from the Donetsk and Kherson military administrations, on October 11, four people were killed in Donetsk due to shelling by Russian forces, while in Kherson, another two were confirmed dead.
Specifically, in the city of Kostiantynivka, Russian strikes resulted in the deaths of two residents, with additional casualties reported in the villages of Starosayske and Oleksandrivka, each claiming one life.
The same day, nine more Ukrainians sustained injuries—six in Kostiantynivka and three in Starosayske.
The explosions and shellings led not only to human losses but also to significant infrastructure damage.
As of the morning of October 12, it was reported that Donetsk was without electricity due to enemy attacks, complicating life for hundreds of thousands of residents.
These events underscore the ongoing high cost of security and stability for the Ukrainian population amidst the war.
