Restoration of Power Supply in Boryspil District, Kyiv Region, After Night Drone Attack
In Kyiv region, specifically in Boryspil district, a significant development took place — the stabilization and restoration of power supply following a large-scale drone attack carried out by Russian forces overnight on Sunday.
The attack caused serious disruptions in electricity supply to thousands of residents in the area, but by the end of the day, full restoration had been achieved.
According to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, all settlements in Boryspil district have regained power, and critical infrastructure facilities are operating normally.
The attack left approximately 10,000 subscribers without electricity, but энергетики, rescuers, and utilities worked together to restore service for all consumers.
Additionally, two DTEK employees injured during the attack have received necessary medical care and have been discharged from the hospital, continuing treatment at home.
Kyiv regional electric grids are now working on pinpointing and repairing damages caused by the attack.
It is important to note that earlier, on October 12th, Russian troops used combat drones to attack energy infrastructure objects in Kyiv region, resulting in damage and injuries among energy company workers.
