Enemy drone injures two civilians in Sumy region during dog-walking incident

On the evening of October 12th, in the Yunakivska community of Sumy district, a tragic event unfolded, adding to the list of consequences stemming from Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

According to local prosecutors, at around 4:00 PM, the enemy launched a drone attack targeting a private household located within this community.

As a result of the strike, two civilians— a 50-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman—who had come from Sumy city to walk their dogs, were injured.

Their conditions are currently being assessed.

This incident underscores the ongoing dangers posed by drone warfare and the direct impact of the conflict on innocent civilians in the region.
