NABU Investigates Fire Point Company: Key Details and Official Position of the Engineer

Chas Pravdy - 11 October 2025 12:20

The disclosures made by Denys Shtilerman, the chief engineer of Fire Point, shed light on the ongoing criminal case regarding their company, as reported by NABU.

According to him, the investigation is currently focused on high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Defense and the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection.

The case pertains to allegations of collusion to inflate prices during drone procurement contracts.

Shtilerman emphasizes that no suspicions or accusations have been directed at Fire Point itself.

The official response from NABU clarifies that the case concerns officials from the Ministry of Defense and the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection, with seven companies being scrutinized—among them Fire Point.

The engineer asserts that their drone is among the most affordable and efficient in its class, backed by numerous applications and independent analytics.

In August, media reports previously suggested a potential investigation into possible price inflation and delivery volumes, as well as a connection to businessman Timur Mindić.

However, NABU later denied these claims.

Shtilerman also states that Mindić has no influence or ownership stake in Fire Point, despite showing interest in the company.

His proposals to become a shareholder were declined, he added.
