Escalation of Hostilities: Russian Forces Advance on Three Fronts in Donbas

Chas Pravdy - 11 October 2025 14:21

In recent days, the situation on the frontline in Donbas has significantly worsened due to increased activity of Russian occupation forces.

According to analytical sources like DeepState, Russian troops have achieved certain successes and advanced in three strategic directions: Oleksandrivske, Pokrovsk, and Dobropil.

They have made progress in settlements such as Nikonorivka and Kotlyne in Donetsk region, as well as Poltavka in Zaporizhzhia region.

These developments are reflected in current combat maps updated as of October 11.

Additionally, experts are monitoring the contact line near Vyimka settlement on the Slavic direction, where tensions are escalating.

Regional analysts report that Russia is accumulating manpower and military equipment in the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd agglomeration, continuing mechanized assaults and landing operations in key areas.

For example, near Volodymyrivka in the Zaimove district, Russian forces deployed multiple vehicles and conducted a landing operation involving between 50 and 75 soldiers.

Military analyst Vitaliy Kononuchenko states that the initial breakthrough of Russian forces around Dobropillya is driven by several factors, including favorable conditions for advancement on the front line.
