Daily Clashes and Russian Attacks in Donbas: A Detailed Overview of the Frontline Situation
Over the past day, the situation on the frontline has remained tense and complex as Russian forces renewed their offensive efforts, launching numerous attacks against Ukrainian positions.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that enemy forces conducted nearly fifty attacks solely on the Pokrovske direction, aiming to break through Ukrainian defenses and seize strategic points.
In total, 160 combat engagements occurred across the entire front during this period, with the highest number—46 attacks—happening on the Pokrovske sector, followed by 28 on the Oleksandrivske direction, among others in key sectors of Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy assaults on the Pivdenno-Slobozhanske and Kurske sectors, while in the Vovchansk, Odradne, and Zapadne areas of the Pivdenno-Slobozhanske direction, 15 active clashes took place.
The most intense fighting is ongoing at the Kupiansk sector, where the Russians launched 12 attacks in areas around Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Novokrugliakovka, and Stepova Novoselivka.
In some regions, combat persists, and Ukrainian troops successfully repelled five attempted incursions in the Yampil, Serebrianka, and Vyimka directions.
Meanwhile, the enemy continues assaults on Ukrainian positions in the Kostiantynivka area, especially near Oleksandro-Shultine, Shcherbinivka, and Poltava, with 14 attempts recorded.
The most active engagement is on the Pokrovske front, where enemy forces made 46 infiltration attempts.
Ukrainian forces respond with precision, neutralizing enemy personnel, equipment, and drones.
According to Ukrainian command, over the last 24 hours, more than 100 invaders have been eliminated, over 60 wounded, and several units of military equipment destroyed.
The fighting persists across four main sectors, representing one of the most critical and ongoing challenges in Ukraine’s continued resistance in the east.
