Chernihiv Region faces new attack: Russian drones strike energy company vehicles, resulting in casualties
Late at night, a new tragic incident occurred in Chernihiv region, linked to ongoing armed hostilities by Russian forces.
This time, Russian unmanned aerial vehicles targeted vehicles belonging to ‘Chernihivoblenenerho,’ the regional electricity provider.
According to Oleksandr Selivertsov, head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration, the incident took place around 10:20 PM near the village of Zhadove in Semenivska community.
The drone strike damaged three vehicles, causing one death and multiple injuries.
The injured received medical assistance at local hospitals.
The official confirmed that among the victims were one deceased and several wounded, who have already been hospitalized.
Additionally, two other vehicles belonging to the company were damaged.
This attack highlights the increasing threat posed by Russian drones and the ongoing risks faced by Ukrainian energy and infrastructure facilities amid the ongoing war.
