Tragic Death of Serbian Club’s Head Coach During Football Match

A heartbreaking incident has shocked the football community in Serbia and beyond.

During a national league match, the head coach of the Serbian club Radnički, 44-year-old Mladen Žižović, suddenly collapsed near the substitute bench.

Medical staff quickly provided first aid and urgently transported him to a hospital, but efforts to save his life were unsuccessful.

According to Serbian media reports, Žižović suffered a heart attack, which caused this tragic event.

At the moment of collapse, Radnički was leading 2–0 in an away match against Mladost.

The match was immediately canceled after the incident, and the players were informed about the tragedy on the field.

Žižović was an experienced professional who previously worked with Borac and led the Bosnian national team to the Round of 16 in the Conference League last season.
