AC Milan Shows Strong Interest in Ukrainian Forward Artem Dovbyk During Winter Transfer Window
The renowned Italian football club AC Milan is considering signing Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk, who currently plays for AS Roma, during the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to credible sources, negotiations between the clubs have resumed, and Dovbyk has become the primary transfer target for the Rossoneri in January.
The Italian team views the Ukrainian player as an ideal addition to bolster their striker position.
Furthermore, AC Milan is open to player exchanges and has even proposed to swap Mexican forward Santiago Gimenez as part of the deal for Dovbyk.
Nonetheless, the club’s priority remains the Ukrainian athlete, who has already demonstrated his high-level performance in Serie A.
It is worth noting that 28-year-old Dovbyk joined Roma last season after transferring from Spanish club Girona.
This season, he has appeared in 11 matches across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
However, the player has not fully met the expectations of Roma’s head coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
The upcoming big match for both teams is scheduled for today, November 2, when AC Milan will face Roma in the 10th round of Serie A.
This game provides a crucial opportunity for both clubs to assess the strength and ambitions of their star players ahead of the winter transfer period, underscoring the importance of this transfer window for strengthening their squads.
