The highly anticipated week of Ukrainian football has concluded with the 11th round of the Ukrainian Premier League for the 2025/26 season, featuring intense confrontations, surprising outcomes, and emotional moments that will be remembered by fans.

From October 31 to November 2, matches took place across the country’s stadiums, including a marquee fixture in Lviv between Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kyiv, which was the highlight of the round.

The schedule and results of each game added to the overall excitement of this season’s Ukrainian football.

The first day saw a match at Obolon Arena in Kyiv, where hosts Obolon narrowly defeated Kudrivka 1-0 thanks to a goal by Dumanyuk.

The following day in Kryvyi Rih, on Gyrnyk Stadium, Kryvbas played a thrilling 2-2 draw against SC Poltava, while Kolos and Oleksandriya ended their game in Ternopil with a 1-1 draw.

In Zhytomyr at Polissya Stadium, an exciting match saw Veres mount a comeback to beat Epicenter 3-2.

On Sunday, two crucial meetings took place: in Kyiv at the Lobanovskyi Stadium, Zorya faced Rukh, and in Lviv at the Lviv Arena, Shakhtar competed against Dynamo.

Monday’s fixtures in Chernivtsi saw LNZ take on Karpaty, and in Zhytomyr, Polissya hosted Metalist 1925.

Due to martial law, matches are conducted with safety measures, including suspensions during air raid alerts—however, some stadiums remain partially open to fans.

It is noteworthy that the previous season saw Dynamo Kyiv crowned champions, with Oleksandriya earning their first-ever silver medals, and Shakhtar finishing third.

Fans attending Dynamo home matches will soon see increased fan capacity, providing more vibrant support amidst challenging times.

Recently, Dynamo Kyiv secured a significant victory in the Ukrainian Cup, overturning the game and defeating Shakhtar, marking one of the most exciting Ukrainian football news in recent days.
