Ukrainian Premier League: Results of Matchday 11 and Highlights of the 2025/26 Season

From October 31 to November 2, the 11th round of the Ukrainian Premier League football season 2025/26 took place, promising another intense competition and exciting sporting moments.

Leading clubs of the country competed fiercely for top positions in the standings and aimed to earn crucial points amid the challenging military situation in Ukraine.The main fixture of the round was traditionally the showdown in Lviv, where Donetsk’s Shakhtar faced Kyiv’s Dynamo.

This match attracted thousands of fans who eagerly watched as each team aimed for victory to strengthen their league standings.

Last season, Dynamo Kyiv was crowned champion, while Oleksandriya achieved a historic silver medal for the first time, and Shakhtar finished third.The schedule featured a variety of matches – from games in western Ukraine to decisive encounters in the capital.

On Friday, October 31, in Kyiv at Obolon Arena, Kudrivka played against Obolon at 6:00 PM.

On Saturday, November 1, in Kryvyi Rih at Gyrnyk Stadium, Kryvbass met SK Poltava (1:00 PM).

On the same day, Kolos hosted Oleksandria in Kovalivka at 3:30 PM, and in Ternopil, the Central Stadium hosted Ekrcenter versus Veres at 6:00 PM.Sunday, November 2, saw the central fixture in Kyiv at Lobanovsky Stadium where Zorya faced Rukh (3:30 PM).

Also, in Lviv at Lviv Arena, Shakhtar played against Dynamo (6:00 PM).

The tournament wrapped up on Monday, November 3, with matches in Cherkasy at Chеrkasy Arena — LNZ against Karpaty (3:30 PM) — and in Zhytomyr at Polissya Stadium, where Polissya played against Metalist 1925 (6:00 PM).Under martial law, matches can be interrupted in case of air raid alerts, which are announced to ensure safety.

Some stadiums have partially opened stands to allow spectators to support their teams despite restrictions.

Last season, Dynamo Kyiv took the championship, and Oleksandriya finished as runners-up for the first time in history, with Shakhtar securing third place.A noteworthy fact is that attendance at Dynamo’s home matches increased, boosting team morale and support.

Additionally, it was reported that Dynamo pulled off a surprising comeback in the Ukrainian Cup, defeating Shakhtar in a tense battle, which stirred widespread discussion among fans and analysts alike.
