The Ukrainian football scene remains intensely competitive as the Premier League season 2025/26 continues to unfold.

From September 26 to 29, the top-tier clubs in Ukraine will face off across various cities, aiming to secure crucial points.

This week, the most exciting fixtures will be hosted in Lviv, where ‘Karpaty’ and ‘Rukh’ will compete, as well as in Kyiv, Odesa, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, and Rivne, where teams will vie for victory on their home turf.

The tournament kicks off on September 26 at 6:00 PM at Kyiv’s Obolon Arena, where ‘Kudriivka’ battles ‘EpiCentral.’ On September 27, matches will be held at Nika Stadium in Odesa between the local team and Poltava, along with the duel between ‘Zorya’ and ‘Obolon’ in Lviv.

The following day, in Cherkasy at the Cherkasy Arena, the local squad will take on LNZ, while in Zhytomyr, on the central stadium, milestones will be achieved in the battles between ‘Zhytomyr’ vs ‘Kryvbas’ and ‘Metalist 1925’ versus ‘Kolos’ in Lviv.

The final matches of the round are scheduled for September 29 in Rivne, where ‘Rukh’ and ‘Shakhtar’ will face off, and in Zhytomyr, where ‘Veres’ plays against ‘Polissya.’ Due to martial law, some fixtures may be temporarily suspended in response to air raid alerts, which adds extra tension and unpredictability.

Despite restrictions, some stadiums have partially opened their stands to spectators, allowing fans to support their teams live.

Last season, Kyiv’s ‘Dynamo’ clinched the Ukrainian championship title, with ‘Olexandria’ earning a historic silver, and ‘Shakhtar’ finishing third.

Currently, transfer rumors circulate, including reports of ‘Dynamo’ considering selling a Romanian rookie who recently reposted Russian propaganda content.

Additionally, an incident involving a mistake during a recent match led to the exclusion of a club from the Ukrainian Cup, surprising many fans and pundits alike.
