Revival Agency Actively Enhances Road Security in Ukraine through Anti-Drone Mesh Installations
Amid escalating threats and military confrontations, Ukraine’s infrastructure authorities and engineers have united efforts to bolster transportation safety.
The Recovery and Development Agency has launched a vital initiative to identify priority road segments, especially those crucial for evacuation and humanitarian aid delivery.
According to Agency Head Serhiy Sukhomlyn, Russian forces are deliberately targeting evacuation routes, which necessitates strengthening security measures through the installation of anti-drone nets.
This strategy aims to reduce destruction risks and ensure the steady movement of civilians and supplies in critical zones.
Currently, road repair works are underway along key routes, with approximately 200 kilometers of major roads in Dnipropetrovsk region already restored, and work continuing on seven additional highways across Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions.
The ongoing efforts also include restoring international routes exceeding 200 km in length.
With the continued use of unmanned aerial vehicles by Russian forces—particularly at night—Ukraine faces increasing safety challenges that demand rapid and effective responses.
