The annual awards ceremony organized by France Football, held once again at the renowned Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, transformed into a star-studded event that gathered the brightest figures in world football.
During this prestigious evening, numerous accolades were handed out to recognize the top performers of the year across various categories.
The main highlight of the night was the victory of Paris Saint-Germain’s striker and French national team player Usman Dembele, who claimed the prestigious Ballon d’Or 2025 — a recognition awarded for his outstanding performances and significant contributions to his team throughout the year.
Beyond the men’s Ballon d’Or, attention was also drawn to the women’s category, where Spaniard Aitana Bonmatí from Barcelona won her third consecutive award, further establishing herself as a football icon among women’s sports.
The organizers also announced winners in other categories: the Gerda Müller Trophy for the best scorer of the year went to Viktor Jukkeres from Arsenal London and the Hungarian national team, who scored 54 goals in 52 matches before transferring to the London club.
The Kopa Trophy for the best young footballer was awarded to Lamine Yamal of Barcelona and Spain’s national team, earning this accolade for the second consecutive year.
The Lev Yashin Award for best goalkeeper was presented to Gianluigi Donnarumma of PSG and Italy’s national team.
The best club accolade was awarded to PSG, which triumphed in France’s Ligue 1, won the French Cup, and the Champions League — an unprecedented achievement for the club.
The best coach award went to Luis Enrique, the head coach of PSG.
