Former Dynamo Kyiv Player and Staff Member Artem Kravets Voices Concerns About Corruption within the Club

Former professional footballer and current Dynamo Kyiv affiliate Artem Kravets has publicly expressed his concern over the pervasive corruption affecting the legendary Kyiv club.
Kravets, a well-known striker who played for Dynamo from 2005 to 2017 and returned in 2020, shared that his motivations for joining the club were rooted purely in a desire to bring positive change and strengthen the team, not in personal gain or fame.
He emphasized that from the very first day, he sought opportunities for growth and learning within the organization, which he found.
“I was not dismissed; I just refused to work superficially when corruption flourished and new ideas were ignored.
I decided not to waste my resources and time on meaningless efforts, but to try and make real changes,” Kravets wrote on his Instagram profile.
It is worth noting that he played a total of 144 matches across various tournaments for Dynamo and scored 43 goals.
During his career, he secured two Ukrainian championships and won the Ukrainian Cup and Super Cup once each.
Kravets also gained experience on loan at German club Schalke and Spanish club Granada.
Moreover, he played 23 matches for the Ukrainian national team, scoring seven goals.
In early 2023, Kravets announced his retirement from professional football.
From July 2023 to August 2025, he served as an advisor to Dynamo Kyiv President Ihor Surkis on youth football development.
