Lamin Yamal, one of Spain’s brightest young football talents and a key player for the national team and FC Barcelona, became the protagonist of an unforeseen situation during his recent trip to Turkey.

Following a 6-0 away defeat in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, the 18-year-old winger discovered he had lost his passport, complicating his journey back to Spain.

According to the reputable Turkish outlet As, citing the Beyaz Futbol program on Beyaz TV, the young player attempted to locate his documents in his luggage before the flight, but his efforts were unsuccessful.

His emotions escalated, and he began gesticulating angrily inside the team bus, raising additional concerns.

However, a quick resolution was soon reached.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) contacted Turkish authorities, and within a few hours, the situation was resolved.

Yamal left Turkey aboard a private plane and returned directly to Spain, demonstrating the high level of coordination and swift action typical of the Spanish football administration.

Notably, Lamin Yamal debuted for Barcelona at just 15 years old and has already established himself as one of Europe’s most promising young stars.

His rapid rise continues unabated, and this incident will not diminish his popularity or reputation in the football world.
