Kyiv’s Dynamo football team recently welcomed a new player — Romanian newcomer Vladislav Blăneț — but his arrival has been marred by controversy.

Social media investigations revealed that the player previously shared pro-Russian content, sparking widespread discussion among fans and the football community.

Screenshots from his personal accounts show Blăneț openly expressing positive sentiments toward Russia.

His TikTok account contains videos featuring the Russian propagandist Solovyov and music from the notorious Russian crime film ‘Brigada.’ Furthermore, his wife’s social media pages display nostalgic photos of the Soviet Union and excerpts from Russian President Vladimir Putin’s speeches, provoking outrage among patriotic supporters.

Currently, his profile is private, and official comments from Dynamo Kyiv or the player himself have not yet been issued.

It is known that Blăneț left the Romanian club Universitatea Craiova before signing a four-year contract with Dynamo Kyiv, with reports suggesting a transfer fee of around 2 million euros.

Born in Moldova, he has played 7 matches for Romania U-21.

The emerging controversy raises questions about the club’s internal affairs and its image, especially ahead of upcoming European matches.

Sources indicate that internal investigations are ongoing, and official explanations are expected soon.
