Benfica firmly intends to keep Ukrainian goalkeeper Trubin, rejecting potential sale in the upcoming transfer window

Portuguese football club Benfica, known for its ambitious plans and high sporting standards, clearly declared that it does not consider the possibility of selling its key Ukrainian goalkeeper, Anatoliy Trubin, in the upcoming transfer window.
According to a reputable source, Glorioso 1904, club management views Trubin as one of the brightest stars of the current squad, making him a valuable asset.
They plan to offer him a new contract to secure his position in the team.
Recall that the Ukrainian goalkeeper joined Benfica in August 2023, transferring from Dnipro’s Shakhtar Donetsk.
His contract runs until 2028.
Since signing, Trubin has become the main goalkeeper for the Lisbon giants, playing 100 matches and conceding 101 goals.
Earlier in the season, local media reported that Benfica had put him up for transfer, and after a successful performance at the FIFA Club World Cup, the Portuguese club’s management was considering selling him for a significant sum.
While there remains a possibility that Trubin might change clubs in the near future, Benfica currently stands firm and aims to retain the Ukrainian goalkeeper to ensure stability and further progress in upcoming matches and tournaments.
