A New Era Begins: Tadej Pogačar Crowned Champion of Tour de France 2025

France has successfully hosted one of the world's most prestigious sports marathons—the renowned 2025 Tour de France—which once again confirmed its status as the most sought-after and competitive cycling race on the planet.
After 21 challenging stages across various French regions, Slovenian rider Tadej Pogačar emerged as the winner, securing his fourth career victory in this grueling race as part of UAE Team Emirates.
This outstanding athlete, just 26 years old, has repeatedly demonstrated his mastery of cycling skills, overcoming numerous obstacles and winning the hearts of fans worldwide.
His victory is particularly significant because it places him in the elite group of cyclists with four Tour de France titles, having previously won in 2020, 2021, and 2024.
The race's record holders, with five titles each, include French legends Jacques Anquetil and Bernard Hinault, Belgian Eddy Merckx, and Spaniard Miguel Induráin.
Now, Pogačar only needs one more victory to join this prestigious list.
The race started on July 5 in Lille and concluded on July 27 in the magnificent city of Paris, enriching the sport with new achievements and highlighting the resilience of Ukrainian cycling, including the tragic loss of the son of a Ukrainian sports legend during military conflicts.
The 2025 Tour de France has been a symbol not only of physical endurance but also of perseverance and the relentless pursuit of victory, inspiring athletes and fans alike worldwide.
