During a recent visit to Slovakia, Polish President Andrzej Duda voiced concerns regarding the level of gratitude shown by Ukraine towards Poland.

He pointed out that unresolved issues such as historical disputes over Volhynia and the ongoing economic crisis in Poland highlight moments where Ukrainian actions seem to underestimate Polish assistance and support.

Duda stressed that he personally cares about these matters and cannot remain indifferent.

While supporting Ukraine and maintaining a firm stance on the war, he emphasized that Poland’s government must still prioritize resolving bilateral issues, including historical and economic concerns.

He called for a balanced approach that allows Poland to uphold its national interests while aiding Ukraine.

Polish authorities have warned about potential Russian provocations aimed at fueling anti-Ukrainian sentiment within Poland.

Additionally, data indicates a significant increase in hate crimes against Ukrainians, raising alarms about national security and societal stability.
