Online Opportunities for Obtaining a Paper Pension Certificate in Ukraine: New Application Procedure
Ukrainian pensioners now have the ability to obtain a paper pension certificate without the need to visit Pension Fund authorities in person, thanks to the implementation of modern digital services.
According to the new instructions, this important document can be obtained remotely by using the official Pension Fund of Ukraine portal or a mobile app.
The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Luhansk Oblast explained in detail that to get the certificate, one must submit an electronic application using a personal electronic signature or BankID.
The process involves several simple steps: logging into the ‘Personal Cabinet’ section on the PFU portal, selecting ‘Pension Provision Issues,’ clicking on ‘Application for the Manufacture of a Pension Certificate,’ and confirming the desire to receive a paper version.
Similarly, the application can be submitted through the mobile application by selecting the ‘To PFU’ section and following similar steps.
It is important to attach scanned copies of the passport, tax identification number, and photo, adhering to specified technical requirements for format and file size.
Depending on the chosen submission method, documents may be submitted online or in person — via originals.
The issuance of the ready pension certificate is carried out by local PFU offices after all data has been verified and the manufacturing process is complete.
