President Donald Trump, in a recent interview with CBS News, hinted at the possibility of running again in the 2028 presidential election.
Responding to questions from journalists, he emphasized that his Republican team boasts a strong bench of potential candidates, creating a competitive edge over Democratic opponents.
Trump stated he prefers not to name specific individuals now but highlighted that there are more than three years until the election, leaving time for decisions.
“Many people want me to run again,” he said.
“But the difference between us and the Democrats is that we truly have a strong reserve of contenders.” When asked about his preferred allies, Trump mentioned Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President J.D.
Vance, noting that his team is composed of highly capable and thoughtful individuals ready to secure voter trust and potentially bring him back to power in 2028.
