Trump Threatens Military Action Against Nigeria Over Religious Crisis

President Donald Trump has issued a surprising and stern warning, threatening military force against Nigeria in response to reports of mass killings of the country’s Christian population.
He stated that he has ordered the Pentagon to prepare for possible military operations if the Nigerian authorities continue to allow this humanitarian and religious crisis to deepen.
In a post on social media platform Truth Social, Trump declared that the U.S.
might immediately suspend aid and financial support to Nigeria, warning that the country could face intervention with weapons drawn to stop the horrific violence committed by religious terrorists.
He emphasized that Nigeria’s government must act quickly, or it risks destruction.
The Nigerian government has not yet responded to this threat.
The post appeared a few days after the United States added Nigeria to its list of countries of particular concern over religious persecution, increasing tensions with the West African nation.
