Kamala Harris hints at potential run for U.S. presidency again
The prominent American politician and Vice President Kamala Harris has recently indicated in an interview with BBC that she has not ruled out the possibility of running for president in the future.
Although she was defeated by Donald Trump in the 2024 elections, Harris emphasized that her life and career are dedicated to serving her country and its people.
When asked whether she might become the first woman to lead the White House, the politician gave a tentative reply: “Maybe,” hinting at her consideration of another presidential bid.
She also clarified that she has not yet made a final decision.
The next U.S.
presidential elections are scheduled for 2028, and Harris noted there are many ways to serve the nation, but she has yet to determine her future plans.
She also dismissed opinion polls suggesting she has low chances of securing the Democratic nomination, stating: “If I solely listened to polls, I wouldn’t run for either the first or second position — and I certainly wouldn’t be here today.”
