Ukrainian citizens receiving pensions and social benefits now have increasing opportunities to obtain necessary documents in digital format without leaving the comfort of their homes.

Specifically, the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) offers a convenient online service to acquire the ОК-5 certificate, significantly simplifying the process for users.

This service eliminates the need for physical visits to branches or long queues.

Representatives of the Main Department of the PFU in Zakarpattia region explained how to obtain this certificate online in several simple steps.First, users need to log into their personal account on the official PFU electronic services portal.

This can be done using a qualified electronic signature (QES) or via the GovID electronic identification system, including Bank.ID.

After logging in, navigate to the ‘Request for Electronic Documents’ section within the ‘Communications with PFU’ menu.

Here, fill out the form by selecting the document type (OC-5), entering your phone number, and agreeing to the processing of personal data.Next, click the ‘Send to PFU’ button.

You then wait for the application to be processed, which can be checked in the ‘My Requests’ section.

Once ready, you can download the document, which can be printed or saved for further use. This system allows every pensioner to receive an up-to-date OC-5 certificate at their convenience, without the need for personal visits to the fund’s office, especially important for elderly people or those in remote areas.

Ukraine continues to develop digital services to enhance access to state services, and this service is just one example of timely reforms in pension provision and social services.
