Former U.S.

President Donald Trump made a high-profile statement on Tuesday, accusing the Department of Justice of injustice and claiming they owe him a substantial sum of money.

According to him, the DOJ allegedly owes him over $230 million in expenses incurred during ongoing federal investigations targeting him.

Trump emphasized that he is not personally involved in the legal proceedings and does not communicate with his lawyers about this matter.

At the same time, he stated he has no intention of pursuing these funds for himself and plans to donate the amount to charity.

In his comments, Trump also blamed the authorities for allegedly rigging the 2020 elections, undermining the democratic process.

Subsequently, he filed administrative lawsuits in federal courts seeking compensation for violations of his rights, particularly regarding Russian interference in the 2016 elections and the raids at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

A spokesperson for the Department of Justice, Chad Gilmartin, assured that all officials operate in accordance with ethical guidelines, even in such conflict-of-interest situations.
