Zelensky to Attend Key ‘Willing Coalition’ Meeting in London Focused on Security Support and New Military Agreements

Chas Pravdy - 20 October 2025 20:39

On this upcoming Friday, a significant meeting of the ‘Willing Coalition’ will take place in London, bringing together top European leaders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to the office of the British Prime Minister Boris Starmer, this event will serve as a platform to discuss critical security issues and military support for Ukraine.

The office confirmed Zelensky’s participation, emphasizing ongoing organizational preparations.

Several other European leaders are expected to join the summit.

Official sources have indicated that the agenda details are yet to be disclosed, but discussions are likely to focus on Ukraine’s security situation and further military cooperation.

Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that he had a recent conversation with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and anticipates a series of meetings across Europe.

It is expected that partner countries will announce provisions for long-range missile supplies to Ukraine, a move seen as vital for strengthening Ukraine’s defenses.

The previous ‘Willing Coalition’ meeting was held in Paris in September, where French President Emmanuel Macron announced that 35 countries had committed to supporting Ukraine’s security guarantees post-war.

Macron described this as Europe’s first consolidated security plan for Ukraine, potentially laying the foundation for future peace in the region.
