Zelensky Initiates Extension of Martial Law and Mobilization: Parliament to Approve New Term

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyhas submitted draft laws to the Verkhovna Rada aimed at extending martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days.
These measures are intended to ensure stability and security amidst the ongoing military conflict.
According to sources, the bills have already been introduced to the parliament and will be reviewed by relevant committees before a vote in the chamber.
Previously, on July 15, the Verkhovna Rada approved extending martial law and mobilization until November 5, 2025, indicating the prolongation of military measures in the country and emphasizing their importance for national security.
