Zelensky Announces Strategic Agreements to Strengthen Ukraine’s Defense Capabilities
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky officially announced that the final stages of concluding a significant agreement with international partners have been reached, aimed at bolstering the country’s defense potential.
According to him, the preparatory phase of the deal concerning the supply of modern weapons and advanced defense technologies will be completed by the end of the week, which will substantially enhance the Ukrainian army.
Zelensky added that cooperation with European and American partners is actively developing, including through expanding the PURL program, which envisages the procurement of air defense systems and other long-range defense means.
The president also instructed Ukrainian diplomacy to continue working tirelessly to prepare for upcoming meetings within the framework of the ‘Coalition of the Determined,’ where leaders will discuss further steps to reinforce Ukraine’s defensive capabilities.
Zelensky emphasized that unity of efforts is crucial for achieving major victories and expressed readiness to negotiate new agreements that will make Ukraine more secure and capable of resisting external threats.
