Veteran Career Platform: A New Path to Employment for Ukrainian Defenders
In modern Ukraine, many brave men and women who voluntarily took on the responsibility of defending the country have become combatants since the beginning of Russia’s large-scale invasion.
After completing their military service and transitioning into civilian life, veterans can utilize the specialized digital platform «Veteran Career», designed to assist in finding civilian employment and facilitate smooth integration into the workforce.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs announced that this online platform offers a wide range of services: from help in resume preparation and interview coaching to practical advice and a dedicated video course.
Currently, the platform hosts over 32,000 job vacancies, with more than 5,200 remaining relevant and active, indicating its vibrant development and commitment to connecting veterans with employers.
The department emphasizes that employers have the opportunity to propose jobs specifically for returning soldiers, including positions in both public and private sectors.
Among the current openings are lead accountant, vehicle driver, legal advisor for the legal department, technical engineer, and psychologist.
Detailed information about available vacancies can be found on the platform’s website.
Additionally, there are job offerings related to the National Military Memorial Cemetery — a place of remembrance and gratitude, symbolizing respect for those who defended Ukraine’s independence.
These jobs open opportunities across various sectors, encouraging contributions to the preservation of memory and support for defenders.
The «Veteran Career» platform welcomes anyone wishing to assist their comrades in employment and integration, as well as those seeking employment opportunities after military service.
