Ukraine Implements a New Position: Verkhovna Rada Approves Law on Military Ombudsman

On Tuesday, Ukraine’s parliament took a significant step toward reforming the protection of military personnel’s rights by adopting in the second reading and overall the draft law №13266, which aims to establish the position of Military Ombudsman.

The document was supported by over 280 deputies, indicating a strong parliamentary backing for this initiative.

The law precisely defines the legal status of the upcoming Military Ombudsman and establishes procedures for his appointment and dismissal.
