Trump Presents Condition for Zelensky: The Need to Reach a Peace Agreement and Halt Russian Oil Imports
Former U.S.
President Donald Trump made a bold statement regarding the future of the Ukraine-Russia conflict, emphasizing that Ukraine must take a significant step — reach a compromise agreement — to halt Russian aggression.
According to him, without reaching an understanding with Moscow, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is likely to face the necessity of making concessions to stop the bloodshed and end the Russian invasion.
Trump highlighted that one of the key points should be the cessation of Russian oil purchases by European countries, as this would significantly weaken the Kremlin’s economy and put additional pressure on the Russian government.
In his statement, the former president stressed that this complex situation can only be resolved through diplomatic efforts and compromise agreements, rather than continuing hostilities that cause immense suffering to the Ukrainian people and destroy the country from within.
