Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the afternoon of September 11 held a significant meeting with U.S.
Special Envoy Keith Kellogg, who arrived in Kyiv as part of diplomatic efforts to strengthen security guarantees for Ukraine.

The leaders also considered expanding bilateral agreements on the joint manufacturing of military equipment, including drones and weapons.
Zelensky expressed hope for continued U.S.
support, highlighting that joint efforts can lead to significant improvements in Ukraine’s defense system.Additionally, discussions covered the pressure exerted on Russia through sanctions and tariff policies.
Zelensky stressed the importance of not only intensifying economic pressure but also boosting diplomatic efforts to expedite the end of the war on Ukraine’s terms.
The tripartite leader format was identified as the most effective platform for achieving critical compromises and implementing peace initiatives.The leaders also talked about the issue of Ukrainian children abducted or forcibly relocated by Russian forces.

He previously visited Ukraine at the end of August, emphasizing that diplomatic work on security guarantees remains complex but vital, especially amid intensified Russian missile strikes on Ukrainian regions, including Kyiv.
