Zelensky Criticizes Global Weak Response to Russia’s Drone Attacks in Poland
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has sharply condemned the insufficient and indecisive response of the international community to Russia’s aggressive actions, particularly the use of drones and missiles against border countries.
The hope for joint efforts to counter Russian drones and missiles has been lingering, but unfortunately, world leaders continue to demonstrate a lack of resolve and promptness in their reactions.Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine offers active cooperation to its partners in defending its airspace: this includes technological support, pilot training, and intelligence sharing.
However, he openly stated that the response from global political leaders remains measured, with actions either absent or insufficient.
“We already face dozens of drones, and hundreds could appear.
Only united efforts of Europe and allies can provide real protection,” Zelensky said. The president noted that Russia constantly pushes the boundaries of possible actions, observing NATO’s and the world’s reactions.
He pointed out that joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises underway could be part of a preparatory plan for escalation.
Zelensky added that Ukraine proposes a coordinated and well-thought-out strategy for airspace defense, which has already been discussed with partners and allows understanding how to prevent a wider war and halt Russian escalation.“Our joint forces are sufficient for this task.
All necessary steps are already discussed, and the time to act is now,” he urged, calling for more decisive measures and solidarity from the global community to counter Russia’s attempts to escalate the crisis on our continent.
