Zelensky Reveals Scope of Night Attacks: Over 400 Drones and Strategic Maneuvers by the Enemy
In his daily address, President Volodymyr Zelensky provided detailed insights into the nighttime missile and drone assault organized by Russia against Ukraine.
According to him, last night the enemy deployed over 400 Shahed drones and nearly as many decoy drones, indicating the scale and complexity of their attacks.
Ukrainian air defenses managed to intercept more than 150 targets, including ballistic missiles, demonstrating significant defense achievements.
Zelensky emphasized that among the defensive efforts, Ukrainian forces successfully intercepted over 150 drones, and an active electronic warfare system, air force units, and other military divisions contributed to the defense.
Additionally, the president reported that before the attack, Russian forces shelled Kyiv, Sumy, Kremenchuk, Odesa, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Zaporizhzhia.
Kyiv still faces ongoing rescue operations for bodies trapped under rubble.
The night’s attack was a large-scale combined strike, involving UAVs and ground-launched missiles across extensive territories.
Ukrainian forces managed to neutralize over 700 targets from nearly 820 enemy attempts.
