Trump Warns: Ukraine War Could Come at a High Cost if Quick Resolution Isn’t Found

U.S.

President Donald Trump made a bold statement regarding the ongoing and destructive conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

During a recent press conference at the White House, coinciding with the signing of an order to rename the Pentagon to the Ministry of War, he warned that the conflict could soon lead to serious and irreversible consequences for the entire world.

In his speech in the Oval Office, Trump mentioned that he has managed to resolve seven global conflicts, but the war in Ukraine proved to be significantly more complex than he initially thought.

Nevertheless, he assured that he would do everything in his power to bring the conflict to an end, emphasizing the tragic toll it takes, with thousands of lives lost each week, including both Ukrainian and Russian citizens.

“Last week, 7,813 people died — young soldiers fighting for their country and ordinary civilians whose safety is under threat.

It’s unbearable, and I want this to stop,” Trump stated, reaffirming his commitment to seeking a peaceful resolution.

These comments raise questions about when and under what conditions peace might be achieved.

According to high-ranking officials, Trump Currently remains very pessimistic about the prospects of a quick settlement or a personal meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine.

However, he continues to push for measures he considers crucial, such as urging Europe to cease buying Russian energy resources, which directly fund the war efforts.

These initiatives remain central in the ongoing search for an end to the conflict and the protection of lives across the region, while diplomats worldwide call for urgent actions to restore stability and peace.
