Egypt sharply criticizes Israel’s call for Palestinian displacement and urges peaceful solutions to the conflict

The international community is increasingly vocal in its criticism of Israel’s policies concerning residents of Gaza amid escalating violence.

Egypt has openly condemned the Israeli call for mass movement of Palestinians, describing such demands as unacceptable and reckless.

Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti, speaking on September 6 during a joint press conference with UNRWA Commissioner Philippe Lazzarini, emphasized that proclaiming the displacement as “voluntary” is nonsense and merely serves to artificially induce hunger and force residents from their land.

He called for understanding the importance of diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis peacefully, pointing out that Israel’s current actions only heighten tensions and further deepen the humanitarian crisis.

As Israeli troops advance deeper into Gaza’s largest district, concerns grow over potential humanitarian disasters and infrastructure destruction.

The Israeli government continues to justify military operations as necessary security measures against terrorist groups, but many world leaders urge negotiations and compromise.

Diplomatic channels are being activated to find a way out of the escalating conflict, with calls for international cooperation and regional peace initiatives.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that since August 29, Israel has not allowed a ceasefire in Gaza, deeming the area a “dangerous war zone,” complicating efforts for humanitarian evacuation and aid distribution, and intensifying the ongoing crisis.
