Zelensky Confirms Large-Scale Support: Thousands of International Troops to Arrive in Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a significant announcement during a recent press conference in Uzhgorod, confirming that the country is actively negotiating with international partners regarding the deployment of their military forces on Ukrainian soil.
According to the leader, the scale of this operation will be much larger than just a few thousand troops; it will involve thousands of servicemen who will become part of a coordinated support system for Ukraine’s military.
Zelensky emphasized that specific figures are still premature to disclose fully, but he assured that discussions are ongoing and nearing a conclusion.
Notably, sources within diplomatic circles reveal that these deployments include efforts for both training and assistance to Ukrainian armed forces, as well as deterrence against possible Russian advances.
The preliminary plans reportedly involve over 10,000 foreign troops across various regions of Ukraine, complemented by air patrols conducted by international air forces stationed outside the country.
This development signals intensified cooperation and support from the European Union and allied nations in ensuring Ukraine’s security and defense stability.
