Macron Summarizes Negotiation Outcomes: Multiple Meetings and Strong Security Guarantees for Ukraine
French President Emmanuel Macron has officially presented the summary of the recent ‘Coalition of Willing’ meeting, during which critical agreements concerning Ukraine’s security were reached.
According to Macron, participants outlined a comprehensive plan involving an unprecedented number of future gatherings among key international stakeholders to coordinate and strengthen security guarantees for Ukraine.
The coalition members agreed that there would be no restrictions on the size of Ukraine’s military forces, emphasizing the importance of rebuilding and enhancing Ukraine’s army and capabilities.
Furthermore, 26 countries expressed their readiness not only to send contingents to support Ukraine—either by deploying military units directly or by providing resources for peacekeepers in the air and at sea.
Macron highlighted that in the coming weeks, a clearer role for the United States in these processes would be defined, alongside ongoing contacts between Russian and American officials.
Planned are bilateral, trilateral, and quadrilateral negotiations aimed at strengthening diplomatic efforts and devising long-term solutions to ensure stability and peace in Ukraine.
