In Germany, there have been discussions and official statements regarding the possible involvement of former U.S.

President Donald Trump in the upcoming ‘Decisive Coalition’ summit.

According to German government spokesperson Stefan Kornelius, the meeting is scheduled for September 4 in Paris, where around thirty mainly European countries will convene in a hybrid format — some participants attending online.

While official Brussels and Berlin have not confirmed or denied Trump’s participation, the date is set for what is expected to be a significant gathering aimed at addressing security challenges in Europe and Ukraine.

Key figures include Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who plans to attend in person and hold talks with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda urged to intensify planning for potential peacekeeping operations in the region.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte expressed hope that during the summit, clear security guarantees for Kyiv could be outlined, emphasizing the importance of European commitments to Ukraine amid ongoing conflict.
