In the heart of China, the capital city Beijing, one of the most massive military parades in recent years took place, capturing the attention of the global community.

This event was dedicated to an anniversary — the 80th anniversary of Japan’s surrender, which marked a pivotal moment ending World War II.

Alongside this, amid international geopolitical tensions, this large-scale military display served not only as a demonstration of military strength but also as a significant political signal.

Over 26 heads of state gathered on Tiananmen Square, including leaders from Russia, North Korea, and numerous other countries.

Prior to the parade, Chinese President Xi Jinping personally greeted prominent guests, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, on the red carpet during the high-profile ceremony.

After a brief photo session and informal talks, they ascended the tribune for speeches.

Following them, other world leaders moved along a procession, emphasizing the high level of attention to this event.

In total, over 26 presidents and prime ministers participated, making it one of the largest gatherings in modern history.

During his speech, Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized that humanity once again stands at a crossroads, faced with the choice between peace or war, dialogue or confrontation.

This competition for the hearts and minds of world leaders draws special attention to current global political situations.

It was reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived in China aboard a special armored train to take part in the event.

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in China on August 31 and is participating in a four-day visit, highlighting the importance of bilateral relations in contemporary geopolitics.

All these factors underscore how significant this diplomatic and military gesture is for shaping world order and addressing global challenges.
