Next Ramstein Meeting: Date in London and Key Details
The news about the upcoming gathering of the Ukraine defense contact group in the Ramstein format has finally been announced.
According to information released by public broadcasting referencing a spokesperson from Germany’s Ministry of Defense, the 30th meeting of this crucial international platform for Ukraine support is scheduled to take place on September 9 in London, the United Kingdom.
It is noteworthy that the event will be conducted in a hybrid format—both online and offline—although the detailed agenda has not yet been disclosed.
The German defense official explained that ongoing consultations prevent them from revealing specifics at this time.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defense Minister, Denys Shmyhal, has confirmed that the event will occur in September but has not provided an exact date.
The previous, 29th meeting of the contact group was held on July 21, led by Germany and the UK.
During that session, Shmyhal emphasized Ukraine’s need for approximately 6 billion dollars to fill the gap in weapons production by 2025.
Additionally, it was reported that Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense received a new equipment shipment from the IT coalition worth 10 million euros, which will significantly bolster the country’s defense capabilities.
