European Commissioner for Enlargement Supports Appointment of New Head of the Bureau of Economic Security
Amid ongoing European Union expansion and the urgent need for reforming internal structures, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Cos expressed her support for an important step taken by Ukrainian authorities — the appointment of a new head of the Bureau of Economic Security (BES).
According to her, the appointee, Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi, who emerged victorious in the competition, is expected to become a key figure in advancing reforms and strengthening the country’s economic security.
She emphasized that this is a significant reform actively supported by the EU, fostering Ukraine’s development and its growth as part of the European integration community.
The European Commissioner noted that backing such initiatives is crucial for Ukraine’s integration into European institutions and for reinforcing its institutional potential.
