Ukrainian Delegation Prepares for Participation in Ukraine National Day at EXPO-2025 in Japan: A Significant Step in Diplomacy and International Cooperation
The Ukrainian delegation has completed its preparations and is now in Japan to participate in the main event of the international exhibition EXPO-2025, scheduled to take place in Osaka.
The visit, planned from August 3 to 6, holds strategic importance for promoting Ukrainian culture, economic interests, and international partnerships.
The delegation is headed by Vice Prime Minister Taras Kachka, responsible for European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
During the program, several meetings are scheduled with Japanese officials and business representatives, including participation in Ukraine’s National Day celebrations aimed at strengthening diplomatic ties and attracting global attention to Ukraine’s priorities.Japan, hosting this major World Expo for the third time, actively supports Ukraine through financial programs and diplomatic initiatives.
Notably, the Japanese government has provided Ukraine with a $3 billion credit to finance key aspects of the state budget, a crucial move amid current geopolitical tensions.
The event’s location in the Kansai region offers Ukraine’s delegation a broad platform to showcase the country and deepen friendly relations with Japanese society and authorities.The visit will also coincide with political, business, and diplomatic meetings aimed at enhancing cooperation and information exchange.
Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that Ukraine’s participation in EXPO-2025 will positively influence international support and strengthen partnership between the two nations.
